The General Meeting of Participants of the Association of Professional Football Clubs of Ukraine “Premier League” was held today in Kyiv.

The participants considered and discussed an appeal submitted by a group of UPL clubs concerning the number of Ukrainian players who may be on the pitch at the same time during UPL competition matches.

By a majority vote, it was decided to submit a request to the UAF Executive Committee to consider the clubs’ proposal that at least four players who are citizens of Ukraine should be on the pitch at any given time.

The participants of the General Meeting also discussed and approved the amounts of expenses for match officials in UPL competitions for the 2026/27 season. This decision is also subject to approval by the UAF Executive Committee.
