Ahead of the start of the new season, a working meeting was held at the UPL between Ukrainian Premier League President Yevhen Dykyi and UAF Referees Committee Chair Kateryna Monzul.

During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their intention to implement joint initiatives aimed at improving the effectiveness and quality of refereeing in UPL Championship matches.

They also emphasised the importance of open professional dialogue, close cooperation and ongoing communication in order to further improve the refereeing system and match organisation.

Meanwhile, as part of its preparations for the 2026/27 season, the UAF Referees Committee has held a series of meetings with UPL clubs regarding the updated IFAB Laws of the Game for the new season.
