On December 20, the SBC Ukraine Awards 2025 ceremony was held at the Kyiv Event Hall by Ramada Encore, bringing together around 400 guests from the worlds of sport, business, media, and marketing.

More than 100 jury members selected the best cases across 23 categories. In the Recognition of the Year category, the winner was UPL.TV, the television channel of the Ukrainian Premier League.

“This award belongs to the UPL clubs, the huge team working behind the scenes, and all fans of Ukrainian football,” commented UPL President Yevhen Dykyi. “At the same time, we clearly understand that this recognition would not have been possible without our Defenders. Notably, across October and November, UPL.TV secured a place among the top 10 most popular TV channels in Ukraine within the OTT and IPTV segments. According to BigData.UA, the channel grew its audience share even while competing against major national entertainment and news broadcasters. Among sports channels, UPL.TV continues to strengthen its lead among sports-specific channels, and in November it accounted for 41.6% of all sports viewership on OTT and IPTV platforms.
