Shakhtar - Dynamo - 0:1

It has been a time-honored tradition not only in Ukrainian football but also in the world that the matches involving top teams are divided into several parts that are semantically very different. The Super Cup 2018 was not an exception.

The first half. By the 18th minute the nominal hosts have a tangible advantage, they hit a crossbar two times while the nominal guests were playing uncertainly. But here we go - the goal by Dynamo: the global trend of mistakes made by goalkeepers reached Ukraine with Pyatov actions. Then for about 10 minutes, Dynamo showed a good and qualitative game with several occasions to score the second ball. Finally, the miners regained the initiative before the halftime.

The second half. The similar situation. At the start, the team from Donetsk was more active. Then Dynamo seized the initiative with creating danger near the rival’s goal. Then there was the longest period in the game, when the miners continuously possessed the ball, while the Dynamo guys tried to play counterattacks (one of those counterattacks ended with a good shot of Tsygankov). At the end of the game, there was an apotheosis with seven additional minutes, two red cards, a bunch of yellow cards and...

0:1! The guys under Oleksandr Khatskevich have become the winners of the Ukrainian Super Cup 2018!
