On July 12, the press conference of the Ukrainian Super Cup 2018 match organizers was held.

On Thursday, July 12, at 12:00 the press conference of the Ukrainian Super Cup 2018 match organizers was held in the conference hall of the Odesa Chornomorets stadium

The event was attended by the Director of the match and the UPL Executive Director Ievgen Dykyi, the Adviser of the UPL President Igor Pidkipnyy, the Deputy Mayor of Odessa Pavlo Vugilman, the Deputy Chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Sergiy Koleboshin, and the Director of the Chornomorets stadium Sergii Sivolap.

Ievgen Dykyi was the first to take the floor. He said that the benchmark for the Super Cup game will be the UEFA Champions League 2018 final that took place in Kyiv. The UPL Executive Director introduced the concept of the Ukrainian Super Cup 2018 and the slogan «Choose Your Color». Besides, Ievgen Dykyi informed of some important details regarding the match: one fan cannot buy more than four tickets, TV company Football is the official broadcaster, Skoda TM is the automotive partner, the official ball is hand-sewn and provided by New Balance, Brokbusiness is the insurance partner, and H20 is the water partner.

Then Igor Pidkipnyy took the floor. He said that there will be the Football Week before the football game this year. Thus, the chain of events will start on July 17 with a promo car where among others the mobile ticket office is located. Later on the same day, two press conferences will be held. On July 18 the opening of official promo-zones will be carried out. Two days later, on July 20 there will be an E-tournament and the FEX 2018 seminar. Finally, a symbolic run will be held on 21 July.

Pavlo Vugilman, for his part, stated that “The Super Cup is one of the most outstanding events in the Ukrainian sport. This is the real football festival. We have a lot of experience in organizing this game — the Super Cup match is held in Odesa for the ninth time. We, for our part, will do everything possible that Odesa citizens and city visitors enjoy the holiday».

Sergiy Koleboshin declared that «The Regional State Administration will take part in all the events that precede the Super Cup. In addition, I want to thank the UPL for the tickets that they distributed to the children from the East of Ukraine».

Summing up the press conference, Sergii Sivolap said that «The Chornomorets stadium is ready to host the 15th Super Cup of Ukraine. We will do our best to make the current match even better than the previous ones. We invite everyone to attend the Ukrainian Super Cup 2018 game!»
